I've got some seasonal Friday eye candy for us this week courtesy of Finland's Marimekko. Through these gathered images we can take a look at the various colourways and design details of their Kuusikossa fabric. Designed by Maija Louekari Kuusikossa is the Finnish word for Spruce.

It was 2013 when I last reported on Japanese fabric company Ottaipnu (reminder here). The textile label is the work of super talented designer Masaru Suzuki who creates these bold and beautiful designs. There have been lots of new releases at Ottaipnu since we last checked in and Masaru's work is now being celebrated in a Japanese book and a major exhibition in Fukuoka. Scroll down to enjoy
Talking of designers from Finland here we have some examples of the beautiful work of Minna Niskakangas. Minna has ten years experience in designing home products. She is inspired by different materials as wood, ceramics, metal, glassware and textile. Minna's current passion is pattern making which she does as part of the design team at Pentik, where Minna is responsible for the whole design
Our Friday eye candy this week comes from Debenhams where I recently had a look around their homeware department. I managed to find some surface in their ranges by Ben de Lisi and Jasper Conran. I also spotted some on trend bedlinen featuring marble and geometrics in neutrals and dusky pink. Here are my picks from the current offering....
Sian Zeng have teamed up with stylish sofa company sofa.com to create a range of children�s sofas and furniture. These beautiful Scandinavian designs are from the Jenny Wallmark Designstudio based in Sweden. Jenny works on all kinds of design projects from magazine illustration to surface design for kitchenware. Bonnie and Neil is a luxury homewares brand from Australia. Founded by creative duo Bonnie Ashley and Neil Downie they offer a range of hand screen print linen cushions, textiles and artworks all made and designed in Melbourne. Charlotte Gaisford is a fabric and wallpaper designer who graduated two years ago with a Textile degree (first). This week sees the Maison Objet show taking place in Paris and one of those exhibiting are Skinny LaMinx. I first featured Skinny LaMinx on P&P way back in 2007 when designer Heather Moore started out her business with an Etsy shop so it is brilliant to see how far she has come.
